The Personal Lines Sales Agent is responsible for managing sales to attract and retain a profitable book of personal lines business.
Must have NC property and casualty license with 5+ years experience.
Responsibilities
- Generate quotes
- Proactively generate leads through community involvement, established frameworks, and innovative networking strategies
- Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures
- Participate in marketing initiatives
- Cross-sell current book of business
- Maintain appropriate licensing and pursue continuing education (e.g., CIC designation, professional development courses)
- Maintain a new business quarterly production quota
- Accurately document all client, carrier, and prospect communications in the agency management system

Responsibilities
- Adhere to current processing procedures to maintain consistency and high service standards.
- Answer billing questions, process billing changes on carrier websites, and follow up on billing changes. Assist in training new employees in billing practices.
- Take change request forms from the client experience team, process changes on carrier websites, document them, and follow-up to verify completion and accuracy.
- Assist in new marketing efforts of the personal lines sales team, including but not limited to data entry, assisting in quote preparation and delivery for new and existing clients, sending quote links, and following up to ensure completion.
- Perform data entry and quote preparation for newly collected data forms.
- Follow up with claims adjusters, carriers, and clients to ensure claims are progressing as necessary.
- Process renewals, binders, ID cards, invoicing, and other documentation.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner to support team efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Complete additional duties as required or needed.
